I'm only on the opening scene and I'm already stuck.

done. pretty easy, usually like one click scenes. and im still kind of confused as to what this white blob thing is?

Anonymous said...

Same here. Just turned on the light and turned the egg thingy into a ghost/apple thingy. Seems there's nothing else to do.

Even Ctrl+Tab only reveal the turn on/off music button.

Anonymous said...

Just click to the right of the blob thing

Peter said...

Nice one, rather dark though.

Anonymous said...

All I can see is a very dark screen with something dimmly blinking. This can't be right?

Nicola said...

Theres a door/port hole to the right of the 'blob'- click it

Anonymous said...

Thor - click onthe red light dot

Anonymous said...

Clicked on the dot as instructed, managed to click on a "melon" that opened...can't see a darn thing other than that...way too dark for me.

Anonymous said...

I can't understand why games like these have to be so dark? It's pixel hunt as it is but why now add the darkness to it? This one was not enjoyable at all. If I could see what I was supposed to be clicking on, then maybe. Hey designer of this game...turn up the damn lights!!

Anonymous said...

WALKTHROUGH:

1. Click the blinking red light.

2. Click the egg to get the little critter.
(For the lack of a better term.)

3. Click the door on the right. While the door is open click the critter.

4. Click the blinking red light.

5. Wait until the bee is under the water droplet the click the droplet so the bee catches it.

6. When the bee is over the closed mushroom on the right click him so the water droplet lands on the mushroom.

7. Move the plant to see the control panel. Turn the lights on and off so you can chang the image on the panel. The lights on the panel should look like "┏━".

8. In the elevator push the buttons so they look like "|_".

9. Pull the cord at the top of the elevator to climb out.

10. Unscrew the cover. Then click the firefly.

11. Break the fan with the loose tile.

12. Click the button by the window to get the food to come down. Click the flies so they don't get the food.

13. Open the curtains and knock the three brooms down.

14. Pull out the stopper at the bottom of the chamber to let the water out. Open the door so the little critter goes in. Close the door and put the stopper back in.

15. Look up and turn the handle to fill the chamber with water. When the little critter is at the top of the chamber pull out the stopper again and open the door on the top.

16. Click the middle of the spiderweb to break it.

17. Use the needle from the air pump in the mushroom on the wall. Pump it full of air until it pops.

18. Click the dandylion puff until it opens and the little critter floats away on it.

THE END

very cute...nice ending

I found this game pointless. I didn't think the end was really a good end, what happens to the apple seed thing after it flies away? And I thought that the majority of the game was watching the little thing crawling around on various surfaces. I wish that it had been a little faster or that there had been less space for it to crawl through. I also thought that the screen was too dark. But I liked the concept.

Jessica said...

took a bit of patients to make sure you were even clicking the right things, but in the end, very cute. :)

Anonymous said...

I had the same problem/issue as those above...it's too dark!

Anonymous said...

P.S. The walkthrough was pointless to me because again....it's too dark. Couldn't even see if or what I was clicking on.

Anonymous said...

After reading the above comments I will coincide with this....TOO DARK....I maxed out my brightness on my monitor to no avail. I will borrow a quote for Anon 22:37, "turn up the damn lights!!"

Gwenda said...

Um, that was ... surreal. And kinda pointless.

I really enjoyed this. It was a little dim but I managed to overcome that but shutting the drapes :) Thanks very much for sharing this one with us, Bart!

Carrett said...

HEY GUYS
->) Get rid of all other lights
->) Play around with CONTRAST
(brightness just makes it all bright at the same time, so it will pretty much be all the same hue)
?) The thing is a living seed, if I interperet it correctly, it went to the dandilion to spread itself, like acorns or pinecones.
!) This game doesn't have anything pop out at you from the dark

I winder if there was a time when point and click adventures made sense?

Yeah, probably not :D

Sarah said...

It seems like this could be a very nice game, the atmosphere is very nice. But as everyone else has pointed out, it's way too dark. You shouldn't have to shut the drapes and change your settings just to play a game. Half the time I just clicked randomly to see if I could hit anything hidden in the dark. Too bad, because I liked the graphics, I just wish I could see more of them :/

Anonymous said...

It is safe to say that after reading all the above comments that it is way too dark and as Sarah stated about changing settings is not neccessary. I absolutely agree with all. To: Game programmer...FAIL!

deCarlo said...

For me it was bright enough even with my standard settings. So it was quite easy to solve.

Nice game, thanks for sharing!

Giovanni said...

Nice and cute, but I'm getting a little fed up with "poetic" little games that are no games at all, as you don't have any choice to make, except peeking at the walkthrough or not. :)

Anonymous said...

the ending is sooo cute!

midge said...

I managed to get the blob out the door and up it went and that's where I'm at right now....there's no second blinking red light....what bee? what droplet?
I need major help.

anna in spain said...

I'm stuck in the elevator, even with the walkthrough. No matter how I click the buttons, I can't pull on the rope.

Anonymous said...

DARNIT! I should have read the comments before attempting the game, because I too can't see a thing. It's way too dark and no amount of adjustment helped it. This one gets an F.

Anonymous said...

The game was cute. I loved the little "baby, apple, spider" thing and some other images (and the camera movement!)...
But it was slow... -_-'''

Anonymous said...

Wow. Everybody is leaving such negative comments about this game. I, for one, thought that it was very well made and altogether quite easy. Thanks for posting this game Bart.

DQ said...

I thought this was nice and easy, a bit slow perhaps. No problems with the darkness, maybe because a still have an old CRT monitor?

Carly said...

Bah, won't even bother with this one after reading all the comments.

Anonymous said...

nice. slow but nice.

Lizzie! said...

Slow, dark, easy, and I don't even want to THINK about where they got the ingredients for that soup!

Anonymous said...

To some having trouble with the darkness issue: My personal findings are that it was my monitor as I am using what I would call is the old style tube monitor rather than a newer flat screen type. Apparently I'm behind the times as everything else that I view seems normal as is. My "revelation" came when I went to the local library and tried the game on all the newer equipment they have. Huge difference. It might not solve all the darkness issues some are having but it just may be your "dinosaur monitor" as was the case with me.

what was the story? the point?

Rava said...

Well... curious game... I like its end most of all...

Apple said...

Very nice game, I liked it very much. Easy, and as Carrett said, nothing pops out from the dark to scare you, although I took a little long with the mushroom and was startled by the scorpion's white eyes blinking at me.
I personally didn't have any problems with it being too dark to see, even with other lights on. I thought the little blob thing was CUTE! And it could crawl upside down!

Anonymous said...

I quite enjoyed it but was very disappointed by the complete lack of ending.

Rob said...

nice and easy!

timtam said...

bahh h boooring i didnt even want to finish the game i got impation for the blob to walk

Someone(haha) said...

So.. I'm stuck crawling up a wall, see no blinking light and have clicked the entire screen area without anything happening... Dark? Incredibly. Stuck spiderman-style on a wall? Incredibly.

This game deserves three words... what. the. hell. Good graphics, although not much else is good about it.

madandyb said...

Nice little game, this!

Stephen said...

Pretty easy game play.

Takes to long for action to end to do other actions to get apple creature to move to next scene.

Game value: 1/5 Stars

Love it.

This looked like it could have been good, but I just can't see anything!

I like the game. it should be dark)
I love the scene with a ?fox?.
I think the big tree was dying, but one of it's seeds was alife and desided to find a place to live. And fly in the end to the place to grow up
