I got the Blue end and the Red end

This one made -- if such a thing could be said -- less sense than usual.
Walkthrough (spoilers):
Get blue bird, us blue bird to lift witch to get sun, give sun to dolphin, get sun plus red balls, put sun plus red balls into bowl next to river, obtain baton, give baton to runner, obtain bread and give to panda, obtain key, open chest with key, obtain axe, use axe on vaulting pole, obtain elephant, use elephant on large ball, obtain "mantle" (cape), use cape on monkey, lift bowl/boat, obtain headband. For red end give headband to red contestant, for blue end give headband to blue contestant.
